      • Transaction Information: Payment details, purchase history, billing address, and shipping address (if applicable).

      3.1 With Event Organizers

      When you purchase tickets or register for an event, we share information with the event organizer:

      • Name and contact information
      • Ticket type and purchase details
      • Check-in status
      • Responses to organizer-created custom questions
      • Other information necessary for event management

      Event organizers are separate controllers of your data and may have their own privacy policies governing how they use your information.

      3.2 Service Providers

      • Payment Processors: Financial information necessary to process payments.
      • Cloud Service Providers: Data hosting and storage providers.
      • Communications Providers: Email, SMS, and messaging service providers.
      • Customer Support Providers: Support ticket systems and customer service tools.
      • Marketing and Analytics Tools: Tools for analyzing platform usage and marketing effectiveness.

Note that some information may be retained for legal, compliance, or audit purposes even after account closure. Additionally, information shared with event organizers cannot be deleted by Linkstub once it has been transferred to them.

      4.4 Restriction and Objection

      4.5 Marketing Communications

      You can opt out of marketing communications:

      • By clicking the "unsubscribe" link in emails
      • By texting "STOP" in response to SMS messages

      Note that even if you opt out of marketing communications, you will still receive transactional messages about your ticket purchases and account.

      5. DATA RETENTION

      We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect our legitimate business interests.

      Specific retention periods depend on the type of information and purpose of processing:

      1. Account Information: Retained as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and operational purposes.
      2. Transaction Information: Retained for the duration required by applicable tax, accounting, and financial regulations (typically 7 years).
      3. Communications: Customer service communications and correspondence may be retained for up to 3 years.
      4. Marketing Data: Retained until you withdraw consent or request deletion, subject to legitimate business interests and regulatory requirements.
      5. Usage Data: Typically retained for up to 25 months for analytics and service improvement.

      8. RELATIONSHIP WITH EVENT ORGANIZERS

      When you purchase tickets or register for events through our platform, you establish a direct relationship with both Linkstub and the event organizer:

      8.1 Dual Data Controllers

      Both Linkstub and event organizers act as independent data controllers for your personal information. This means:

      • Event organizers have their own privacy policies that govern how they use your information
      • Event organizers may collect additional information from you at or after the event
      • Linkstub and event organizers have separate responsibilities for protecting your data

      8.2 Information Sharing

      Event organizers receive the following information when you purchase tickets or register for their events:

      • Your name and contact information
      • Ticket purchase details and preferences
      • Responses to any custom questions created by the organizer
      • Check-in status and attendance data

      8.3 Organizer Marketing

      Event organizers may send you marketing communications if:

      • You have given your consent to receive such communications
      • You have an existing relationship with the organizer
      • The communication relates to similar events or services

      You can opt out of marketing communications from event organizers by following the unsubscribe instructions in their messages or by contacting them directly.

       

      Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

      8.4 Organizer Privacy Practices

      We require event organizers to comply with applicable data protection laws, but we cannot control their actual practices. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of each event organizer before purchasing tickets.

      9. COMMUNICATION SERVICES

      9.1 SMS Communications

      If you opt in to receive SMS messages from Linkstub or event organizers, the following terms apply:

      1. Message Content: SMS messages may include transaction confirmations, event updates, check-in information, marketing messages, and other notifications.
      2. Message Frequency: The frequency of messages will depend on your interaction with the platform and the specific events you register for.
      3. Carrier Charges: Standard message and data rates may apply, as determined by your mobile carrier.
      4. Opt-Out Instructions: You can opt out of SMS messages by replying "STOP" to any SMS message you receive.
      5. Privacy and Data Use: Your phone number will be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

      9.2 Email Communications

      When you provide your email address, you may receive the following types of email communications:

      1. Transactional Emails: Ticket confirmations, event updates, check-in instructions, and other necessary communications regarding your purchases.
      2. Marketing Emails: Promotions, recommendations, and other marketing communications if you have opted in.
      3. Platform Updates: Information about changes to our Services, Terms of Service, or Privacy Policy.

      You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by updating your communication preferences in your account settings.

      10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

      Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.
